Do Muha Meds Get You High? An Honest Look at the Effects

You may know them as the stylish and colorful packaging of Muha Meds if you’ve spent time within the cannabis community. As one of the prominent players in the disposable vape and cartridge market, they are widely known. However, when you have such a vast array of options, the ultimate question continues to be asked: Does Muha Meds Really Get You High?

The short answer is yes, Muha Meds does get you high. However, the reality is much more complicated. While the authenticity of the product, the particular strain you’re using, and your personal tolerance will ultimately determine the quality of your experience, we will provide an overview of how Muha Meds products can affect you.

The Muha Meds Signature: A Creeper High with a Payoff

One of the things you will probably notice, especially if you have used distillate cartridges before, is that the Muha Meds high does not always happen right away. Some distillate cartridges seem to turn the lights off in your brain and then all of a sudden you are floating around on a cloud. Muha Meds tend to be what I call a "creeper".

You may pull a few times, sit there with the vapor in your lungs, exhale and say to yourself, "I don't see anything." You may pull a few more times, put the pen down, go back to your video game or continue talking. Then, usually 5-10 minutes later, it will tap you on the shoulder and tell you to pay attention.

My experience with Muha Meds is that it usually starts as a gentle pressure behind the eyes. It is a pressure that is warm and familiar. Once I start to relax, I begin to feel a sense of calm that is spreading from the middle of my chest and releasing tension in my shoulders that I wasn't even aware of. This is not a racing, paranoid high. Most of the time Muha Meds are indica-based, even when they list them as hybrids. The sensation is very physical and sedative. It is the type of high that makes your couch feel like the most innovative piece of furniture you have ever owned.

The Strain Game: My Personal Experiences

This is where the "Med" in the name of Muha Meds seems to be ironic and also somewhat true. While it is not medicine in the regulated, pharmaceutical form, the effects of each strain are clearly felt.

  • Granddaddy Purp (Indica): This was my first experience with Muha Meds. The high was a traditional heavy body stone. It didn’t help me think differently or be more creative, but it did a great job of getting rid of the stress of a long day. It was less of a creative spark and more of a heavy comforter that took away my anxiety. Great for a late night movie, but guaranteed to give you "sleepy eyes".
  • Blue Dream (Hybrid): This one promised a balance of high and function, and it delivered the most functional high of the three. There was a definite early morning high - a slightly brighter mood and some mental energy. However, the Indica base was always present and kept me grounded. I found it to be good for doing simple tasks or taking a short walk. I wanted to be lifted, but not floored.
  • OG Kush (Hybrid): Do not let the hybrid designation fool you. The OG Kush family is evident in the heavy, stoney, and near narcotic high. This is a "one-and-done" for me. One session in the evening and I am relaxed. That relaxation quickly turns into a strong case of the munchies and eventually a deep sleep.

The Elephant in the Room: Legitimacy and The "Fake" Factor

Here is the important part of this honest review: The Muha Meds market is filled with fakes. I have experienced both - the legitimate version from a licensed dispensary and the questionable version from a "guy". The differences were not minor.

The legitimate cartridge gave me the consistent, clean, creeper high I previously discussed. The high from the fake Muha Med was harsher on the throat, tasted chemical, and produced a jittery and uncomfortable high, which left me with a headache. The gamble you are taking is not just whether the high is going to be weak, it is a gamble with your health. Counterfeit products such as those made by Muha Meds can include pesticides, heavy metals, or other unknown cutting agents.

The Final Verdict: A Couch-Lock Companion

Do Muha Meds get you high? Yes. They produce a significant, primarily Indica-based high that is suitable for relaxing, reducing stress, and inducing sleep. It is not a mellow, functional Sativa to use while viewing art at the museum. It is a blunt tool for unwinding.

When you decide to use a Muha Meds product, it should be your goal to obtain it from a licensed dispensary. The differences between a verified product and a counterfeit product are not just related to quality, it is related to your safety. A legitimate Muha Med produces a heavy-lidded, comfortable stone. A counterfeit Muha Med is a gamble with your well being and your lungs.
