Disposable Vapes with the Most Puffs: Top Picks

Disposable Vapes with the Most Puffs: Top Picks

The main reason I reach for a disposable vape is because of convenience. And then there is the awful feeling when you buy something and within a couple of days the light blinks, even though you thought you were getting a good deal on "high puff counts". As someone that has been through so many different types of disposables over the years, I have learned that "the most puffs" is not simply a number on a box. It is really about how efficient the battery is, how much e-liquid the device can hold, and above all else, does the flavor stay strong from the first puff until the last, slightly tired one?

Based on my experiences with vaping, here are my top picks for those that deliver on their puff count claims.

1. The King of Consistency: Geek Bar Meloso MAX

Claimed Puff Count: 9,000

If I had to give an example of one device that has continually lived up to the puff count on the packaging, it would be the Meloso MAX. The Meloso MAX is not the flashiest vape on the market, and that is why it works. Geek Bar focused on the basics of creating a device that could live up to the puff count claims on the packaging: a massive 14ml liquid container and a large battery. I used a Pink Lemonade Meloso MAX for almost three weeks, using it every day.

What makes the Meloso MAX special is the draw-activated firing mechanism — it is consistent and never has that strained feel to it. The flavor of the Meloso MAX stayed remarkably consistent throughout its lifespan. It never developed that disgusting, burned, and tired taste that you see in devices that don’t have the ability to control their wick and therefore lose the ability to produce flavor as they run out of e-liquid. For me, the Meloso MAX is the standard that all other devices should be judged against. It is the reliable workhorse that you can count on when all of the other devices that may have gimmicks and/or features have died.

2. The Flavor Powerhouse: Raz TN9000

Claimed Puff Count: 9,000 (That is quite a boast!)

When I first looked at the Raz TN9000, I thought that the 9,000 puffs claimed on the packaging was pure fantasy. But after using a Blueberry Watermelon Raz TN9000 for a full month, I have to say that it is a true marathon runner. While I think that the longevity of the Raz TN9000 is impressive enough, I think that the way it maintains the flavor is even better.

Raz states that they use “RazCharged” technology, which sounds like marketing speak, but it is clear that this is actually something that helps maintain the flavor of the vape throughout its entire lifespan. The 12ml liquid container combined with the intelligent power management system of the Raz TN9000 prevents it from hitting hard and quickly burning out. Instead, it produces a smooth, continuous vapor throughout its entire lifespan. When I need a vape that will provide a consistent, long-lasting flavor experience, I grab the Raz TN9000.

3. The Smooth Operator: Lost Mary OS5000

Claimed Puff Count: 5,000

Lost Mary is a sister brand of the extremely popular Elf Bar. The OS5000 is Lost Mary’s sleek, unadorned competitor. I find the shape and feel of the OS5000 to be incredibly comfortable. But beyond the comfort factor, it has proven to be a consistently reliable vape.

I tested the Cranberry Soda flavor and from the very first draw to the last, the Mesh Coil produced a smooth, flavorful vapor. The draw of the OS5000 is a perfect MTL (Mouth-to-Lung) experience – neither too tight nor too airy. In my usage, it lasted nearly as long as the Geek Bar Meloso MAX, but I placed it third due to its exceptional smoothness. The flavor does not “pop” with the same level of intensity as the Raz TN9000 by the end of its lifespan, but it never once tasted burnt or degradable. It is the polite and reliable companion of the disposable world.

4. The Bold Competitor: Flum Pebble 6000

Claimed Puff Count: 6,000

The Flum Pebble is instantly recognizable by its unique, rounded design. It is pleasant to hold in the hand, but the big question is how well will it perform. Based on my testing, I believe that the advertised 6,000 puffs to be somewhat accurate. The Flum Pebble contains a large battery and e-liquid reservoir for its compact size and demonstrates that.

I used an Aloe Mango Pebble and enjoyed a very nice, airy draw. The flavor was fresh and clean. I do have to mention a small caveat based on my testing – the last 300 puffs or so of the e-liquid did seem to lose some of its flavor and vapor output compared to the Raz TN9000 and the Geek Bar Meloso MAX. This is a relatively minor complaint considering how long the Flum Pebble will go before it runs out of e-liquid, however it is why it is ranked below the others. If you like the look and feel of the Flum Pebble and want a reliable, long-lasting vape, it is a great choice.

Final Puff: A User’s Viewpoint

While chasing the highest puff count can be a game, it is not where the best value lies. The number printed on the packaging means nothing if the flavor of the vape becomes vile after 2,000 puffs or the battery quits working with a half-filled tank.

From my numerous hours of testing these devices, here is my real-world advice:

  • The Meloso MAX is your best bet for consistency.
  • The Raz TN9000 is for the serious flavor enthusiast that wants the longest lasting vape possible.
  • The Lost Mary OS5000 is a premium, smooth vape from start to finish.
  • The Flum Pebble is a wonderful, fashionable alternative that still provides a long-lasting vape.

At the end of the day, the "most puffs" is a function of both the engineering of the vape and the type and amount of ingredients used. Your own vaping experience will also depend on your individual vaping style and frequency. But based on my own vaping experience, these four devices have consistently demonstrated that they are able to provide a long-lasting vape without sacrificing what is most important: a consistent flavor from the first puff to the last.
